Wellston Fire Department
The Station is fairly old, but we have adapted it to meet most of our needs. As you can see, we have more trucks than doors, so we have to stack trucks. We stack our Brush truck and Rescue truck in one bay, and two engines come out the same door. It takes a little skill when backing in, but we make due.
We have plans for a new station, but as with all departments, money is tight. We are looking into grants, as we always do, but nothing has came our way yet.
We plan to have a training ground at our new facility. We currently train at other locations.
